We really take great care in making sure that you understand the process of what we’re going to do. We don’t want to just show you a treatment plan and say, hey, this is what you have going on.
We’re going to spend as much time or as little time as you want to. We’re going to go through pictures. We’re going to go through x-rays.
We’re going to go through scans. We’re going to do basically everything we can so that you understand what our treatment is, and then give you a timeline. We want to give you a timeline so you can expect we’re going to finish up in two weeks or six months or whatever.
We want to make sure that the patient is well-educated and coming to our office so we can take care of all your dental needs. If there’s something that we need to look elsewhere for, if we need to bring in a specialist, we can. Family Dentistry is the name of our practice, so I think that kind of says a lot.
When we first came in, in 2010, we became more of a family for the team, family for our patients. At an early age, my grandfather, he always talked about the golden rule. The golden rule, treating others like you’d want to be treated.
That stuck with me. I can remember probably from age five or six, that being implemented in my brain. I just try to carry that out each and every day with our patients, with our team.
Everybody’s got stuff going on. We want to walk through that with them, but ultimately, we want to take excellent care of our patients and treat them well, and they treat us well. I think when we do invite them in to come to our practice, we want to let them know that there’s nothing that’s going to surprise us.
They may call us on the phone and say, hey, I’m really embarrassed to come in. It’s been five years, and I know I’ve got cavities and holes in my teeth, or I’m not going to smile. We’re like, hey, come on in.
You’re here now. You’re here now. We can’t change the past, so you’re here now, and we’re going to take it a step at a time.
